Malaysia Digital Arrival Card (MDAC) for all Foreign Travellers/Visitors – Steps to Apply, Documents Required, Check registration, Check visit pass, Check Egate eligibility status
Foreign travelers are required to complete the Malaysia Digital Arrival Card (MDAC) no later than three (3) days before their scheduled entry into Malaysia.
Follow these steps:
Step 1: Fill out the Malaysia Digital Arrival Card (MDAC) provided here.
Step 2: Fill the Registration Form
Check Malaysia Digital Arrival Card (MDAC) Registration
Step 3: Submit the MDAC within three (3) days prior to your Malaysia arrival. Confirmation of submission will be emailed to your registered address.
Step 4: Upon arrival in Malaysia, proceed to the Immigration counters.
Check Visit Pass
The following travelers are exempt from this new requirement:
- Singaporeans
- Holders of Diplomatic and Official Passports
- Malaysian Permanent Residents (PR) and Long-Term Pass holders
- Holders of Brunei Common Certificate of Identification (GCI)
- Holders of Brunei-Malaysia Frequent Traveler Facility
- Holders of Thailand Border Pass
- Holders of Indonesian Cross Border Pass (PLB)
Egate Eligibility:
Eligibility for eGate usage
- Foreign business and social travelers from 10 specified countries (see infographic on the homepage)
- Submitted the Malaysia Digital Arrival Card (MDAC) at least 3 days prior to arrival, except for Malaysia Permanent Residents (PR) and Malaysia Long-Term Pass holders
- Completed biometric (fingerprint) enrollment at the counter
- Holder of an e-Passport
